Julia Unfried

Julia Unfried was born in Nuremberg, Germany (1984). She studied sociology at the Otto-Friedrich-University Bamberg with main emphasis on empirical social research. She received her diploma degree in May 2011. In her diploma thesis she studied the operative utilization of atypical employment in German firms, explaining the motives of using these flexible employment forms and analyzing special determinants which have an impact on the operative use. Julia was engaged as a research scientist and Ph.D. student in the ERC Advanced Grant project "eduLIFE" from June 2011 to September 2013
