Eduwin Pakpahan

Dr. Eduwin Pakpahan was a researcher at the Department of Epidemiology, Shanghai Cancer Institute, China, and The Smeru Research Institute, Jakarta, Indonesia. Recently, he worked as research assistant at the Cancer and Tumor Registration Group at the Department of Public Health, University of Perugia. He completed his PhD in Mathematical and Statistical Methods for Economic and Social Sciences in 2012 in Perugia, and his bachelor was in Statistics at Bogor Agricultural University, Indonesia.

His research Interests are: Multivariate Analysis through Graphical Model, with application in Social Economics and Public Health fields, and in computational statistics. Not limited to the statistical side, he is also interested in causal reasoning in socioeconomic and public health research and the interference between quantitative and qualitative approaches.
